The Sweet Tea Festival celebrates Summerville’s well-known claim as the birthplace of sweet tea. Held each fall in historic downtown, the festival features local vendors, live music, family activities, food trucks, and of course plenty of sweet tea. It’s a fun community event that brings residents and visitors together to enjoy a relaxed Lowcountry tradition.
